Same dots, same places
A pattern of dots is copied a row and a column at a time: find the dot, find the same place on the empty grid, color it. The patterns here are pictures — an arrow, a heart, a letter — so the child can see the whole and check it whole.

Find the row, find the column, color the dot.
A copy the dots worksheet generator, printable as a PDF. Ten pairs a page, each a grid of circles with some filled in and an empty grid beside it to color the same way. Pick a 4 × 4 grid, a 5 × 5 grid, or the mirror level, where the pattern has to be colored the way it would look in a mirror, across a dashed line. Every figure comes from a pool of shapes that are something — arrows pointing every way, hearts, houses, trees, stairs, letters — turned and flipped for dozens of different ones, and never twice on a page. The mirror level has an answer key.

Each colored dot onto the same row and column of the empty grid.
Check
That the two grids make the same picture.
The task
Every figure is something — an arrow, a heart, a letter — turned every way it can face. Mirror asks for the figure flipped across the dashed line.
