Order of operations crosswords with every step a whole number
Each clue mixes three or four operations — (54 + 49) × 4, 687 + 681 × 11 − 992 — in order of operations. Every clue is built backwards from its answer, so no step of the working is ever negative or a fraction, and the crossings check the result.

Order of operations, every step a whole number.
A mixed operations crossword generator, printable as a PDF. Pick three steps with + − ×, three steps with division and brackets, or four steps, and generate. Clues follow the order of operations, and brackets appear only where they change the answer. Every intermediate result is a natural number and every division is exact.
