Three numbers, four facts
Subtraction is not a new set of facts to learn: 8 − 5 = 3 is 3 + 5 = 8 read the other way. A fact family triangle puts the three numbers where a child can see that.

The whole on top, the parts below.
A fact family worksheet generator, printable as a PDF. Six triangles a page, the whole at the top and the two parts at the bottom corners, each with four lines of boxes for its facts — two additions and two subtractions, or two multiplications and two divisions. Addition goes to 10 or 20, multiplication to 10 × 10 or 12 × 12. Switch on “one missing” and a corner is left blank, to be found from the other two before the facts are written. No doubles, which only make two facts, and no 0s or 1s. With an answer key.
1 token a sheet, fewer in batches.
