Follow the chart
A number, a question, two ways to go. The arithmetic is easy on purpose — the work is reading the chart and asking the question of the number in hand.

The question is about the number you have now.
A math flowchart worksheet generator, printable as a PDF. Two charts a page, each with a table of seven numbers to run through it and a robot beside it. A chart asks a question of the number — Even? Odd? Ends in 0? Ends in 5? Less than 50? — and each answer leads to its own step, +7 on one side, ÷2 on the other. Choose one question, a question and a step after it, or two questions, where the second is asked of the new number rather than the starting one. Numbers go to 20, 100 or 1,000, with adding and subtracting only or all four operations. Every branch is used by at least two of the numbers, and division only sits where the question promises it comes out even.
