Mazes with locked doors, and keys to find first

The way to the star runs straight into a locked door. Its key is down another corridor — and on the harder sheets, the next key is behind the first door. A maze you have to plan, not just trace.

How it works
Ages6+TypeLogic

Locked first, then open.

A keys and doors maze generator, printable as a PDF. Pick one, two or three doors and generate. Every door is on the only route to the star, every key is off the route down a side corridor, and a door opens only with the key of the same color and shape — so the sheet still works printed in black and white. Three doors adds a locked door that opens onto a dead end.
