Number jump puzzles where every square says how far to go
Stand on a 3 and jump three squares — up, down, left or right. Most squares send you somewhere that goes nowhere, and only one chain of jumps lands on the star. Write each number you land on as you go.

Every square says how far to go.
A number jump maze generator, printable as a PDF. Pick a 5 by 5, 6 by 6 or 7 by 7 grid and generate. There is exactly one way to hop from the shaded square to the star, about five, eight or eleven jumps long. The sheet shows a worked example and a row of boxes to write the path in; the answer key draws every hop.
