Do the small fact, then take care of the zeros
40 × 200 is 4 × 2 with three zeros on the end. 6,000 ÷ 200 is 60 ÷ 2 once the zeros they share are crossed out. That is the whole of it, and it is the difference between a child who finds this page easy and one who finds every line of it impossible — so the sheet prints both moves at the top rather than starting at question one.

One small fact, and the zeros come along for the ride.
A worksheet generator for multiplying and dividing by multiples of 10, printable as a PDF. Pick how many zeros are in play — one, up to two, or up to three — and whether the page multiplies, divides or mixes the two. Every sheet holds forty-eight facts in three columns, built fresh, with no fact asked twice on a page. Every division comes out whole and every one of them can be solved by the rule at the top of the page: divisions like 100 ÷ 2, where crossing out the zeros leaves 1 ÷ 2, are left off on purpose. The worked examples can be switched off for a child who already has the trick, and the answer key is a tick-box.

Cross out
Dividing? Strike the zeros both numbers share — 6,000 ÷ 200 becomes 60 ÷ 2.
Solve
The small fact that is left: 4 × 2, or 6 ÷ 2. That part is one you know.
Count
Multiplying? Write every zero from both numbers on the end of the answer.
How many zeros
Counted across both numbers: 40 × 2 has one zero, 40 × 20 has two, 400 × 20 has three. Forty-eight facts a sheet at every level.
Operations
Every division comes out whole, and every one can be solved by crossing out the zeros both numbers share.
