Fourteen, 14 — and back again
A child who can count to twenty can still write "fiveteen". The teens are where number words stop following a pattern, so they get a page of their own, and every word is written on the lined paper kindergartens use for handwriting.

Read it one way, write it the other.
A number words worksheet generator, printable as a PDF. Pick the numbers — 1 to 10, the teens, or 21 to 100 — and whether the child writes digits, words, or both. Every word is written on a primary-ruled line: a solid top line, a dashed midline and a solid baseline, the paper US children learn letters on. A word bank at the top lists the words the page asks for, in counting order, and can be switched off once spelling is secure. On the 21-to-100 page no two neighbors come from the same ten, so forty-three and forty-seven never sit side by side.
