Four the same, one not

Same and different is a lesson that comes before reading — b and d are the same shape turned over. The levels choose how hard the difference is to see.

Look at every one, then circle.

An odd one out worksheet generator, printable as a PDF. Eight rows a page, each of five pictures where four are the same and one is different; circle the odd one. Pick the pictures — vegetables, farm animals, sea creatures, space, toys and treats, animal friends — or plain shapes. On easy the odd one is another picture or another color; medium adds a different size or one turned the other way; hard brings the sizes closer, and with shapes adds a small detail, a dot inside or a stripe across. The answer key circles the odd one and names what changed. The black-and-white print never relies on color.
