Help the spider finish its web

The spokes are up and the first turn is spun. Go round from dot to dot, out to the edge of the page.

How it works
Ages3–6TypeCoordination

One dot at a time, and keep going round.

A spider web worksheet generator for fine motor practice, printable as a PDF. The spokes of a web cross the whole page, each with a row of dots, and the first turn of the thread is drawn with an arrow showing the way on. The child joins the dots round and round — a long, curving, controlled stroke with a dot to aim at every few centimeters, which is the pre-writing practice. Spin it as a true spiral that climbs a little on every spoke, or one ring at a time; choose 6 spokes and 4 dots for a three-year-old, up to 12 uneven spokes and 7 dots; add gray lines to trace for a beginner. Every web is new: the spokes, their angles and lengths change sheet to sheet.
