Who is running late?

Telling time with a reason to: read each clock, compare it with when you need to be there, and decide.

How it works
Ages6–9TypeMath

Read the clock, then compare.

A telling-time word-problem generator, printable as a PDF. Each card names something with a start time — the bus at 7:45, piano at 3:45 — and its clock shows the time right now, a little before or a little after. Circle the ones who are late and count them. The gap matches the level: half hours, five minutes or single minutes. At least one is always late and at least one is not.
